Winter Blues

Hey all! Has this winter felt long to anyone other than me? Here in Philadelphia we are bracing for our 9th big snow storm. Even the locals say this winter has been unusually cold and white. It's a cruel adjustment for someone who just moved from Texas, if you ask me... ;)

Despite having the winter blues, we are keeping busy around here with the shop. We recently added brush cleaner, which is an item many of you have been asking about. Judging by the orders we've had recently, several lucky guys are going to have some Badger love for Valentines day this year! We hope they enjoy it!

You might have seen a note on our Facebook page that we've been approached by a pretty well-known brand to be featured on a new blog they're launching this week. I can't wait to get final word that the blog is live so I can share a link with you all! We don't necessarily reach out to companies to be featured, so it always blows us away when someone falls in love with our products and asks for a feature. If nothing else, it helps us see how broad our reach can be. People from all different walks of life love our products and that, my friends, is why we do what we do. I'm always so surprised and humbled by the opportunities we are given.

We're also putting together a mailing list (email), to be able to better reach our customers with shop news and....even better....COUPON CODES! Send us a message if you'd like to be included in our list!

As always, we're continuing to work to offer you the best products we possibly can. Soon we will have many more options for you to upgrade and customize your shaving kits to be exactly what you want them to be!

Is it just me, or did this holiday season FLY by? It seems like just yesterday I put our tree up and started to think about shopping for gifts. I hope the season was wonderful for each of you!

We have some exciting things planned for you guys this year! Several new products are in the works, and we're hoping to bring a couple new fragrance options for you as well.

Don't forget to get your Peppermint Cedarwood items NOW before they're all gone! We're pulling that one until next Christmas season as soon as our current stock is gone.

Also, don't forget about the beautiful Honduras Rosewood shave set we have. It's a one of a kind piece and we'll never have another set with that type of wood.

We are working quickly to re-stock and prepare all the new items for you. During this time, shipping will take a bit longer than normal, so we are thankful for your patience!

Christmastime is here!

Can you believe Christmas is only one week away? I remember when I was a kid and counted down the days, which seemed to drag on forever. I don't know when it happened that I became an adult and the days fly by instead of dragging!

Shop Small 2013

Alright. I've written about Small Business Saturday several times already so hopefully you're picking up that it's something I think is very important.

Small business owners (like us) devote an incredible amount of time and energy to our craft. We are constantly discussing potential new scents to add, tweaks to our product line, improvements to our branding and packaging, and how we can better serve our customers overall.

When we moved from TX to PA, we made the decision that I would stop working a full-time corporate job and instead get a part-time job in order to devote more time and attention to Badger Lather. It hasn't been easy, but it has been wonderful.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy connecting with each of you on Facebook or on our blog. We truly do take to heart any and all feedback we receive and it helps us to serve you better.

We certainly are not the only ones with a story like this. I personally know many different small business owners and every single one of them devotes as much time and energy as we do. It's hard work, but so rewarding.

Here are two specific things you can do on Saturday (or everyday) to help:

1. Place an order! Christmas shopping anyone?
2. Share our Facebook page with your friends! We need your help getting the word out about our products.
